Privacy policy

This policy explains what information JETS ("we", "us"), operating the website https://www.jets.fun, collects, how we use it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it.
1. What JETS does
JETS lets people launch digital tokens linked to a public creator account on X, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Kick, GitHub or Reddit. Part of each token's trading fees is set aside for that creator. Creators sign in with the platform account the token is linked to, so we can confirm they own it before they claim.
2. Information we collect
When a creator signs in with a social platform, we receive only basic public profile information:
- account or channel ID
- username or handle
- display name or channel title
- profile picture URL
We do not receive or store passwords, email addresses, private messages, videos, comments, subscriber lists, watch history or any other private content. We never post, upload, like, subscribe or perform any action on your behalf.
When a creator adds a payout address, we store that public wallet address. When anyone launches or trades a token, the transaction and wallet address are recorded on a public blockchain, which is outside our control.
Technical data: we set one session cookie to keep a creator signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may process IP addresses in server logs for security.
3. Google and YouTube user data
When you sign in with YouTube, JETS uses the YouTube API Services with the read-only scope youtube.readonly. We request it for one purpose: to read the ID, title, handle and thumbnail of the YouTube channel you own, so we can confirm you are the owner of the channel a token is linked to. We read this once per sign-in.
We do not access your videos, playlists, comments, subscriptions, analytics or any other YouTube data, and we do not share, sell or transfer Google user data to anyone. Google user data is not used for advertising or to train AI or machine learning models.
JETS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
By signing in with YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke JETS's access at any time via your Google account security settings.
4. How we use information
- to verify that a person claiming creator fees owns the linked account
- to show a creator their balance, linked tokens and payout history
- to display the creator's name and picture on the token pages linked to them
- to send payouts to the wallet address the creator provides
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling or any purpose not listed here.
5. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. It is processed only by the service providers that run JETS: our hosting provider (Vercel) and our database provider (Upstash). Access tokens from social platforms are used once during sign-in and are not stored.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep profile information only while it is needed to link a creator to their tokens and payouts. Profile data received from YouTube is refreshed each time the creator signs in and is deleted within 30 days if it can no longer be refreshed. You can ask us to delete your stored information at any time by contacting us (see below). We delete it within 30 days. Information recorded on public blockchains cannot be deleted by anyone.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sessions are signed, and access to our systems is restricted.
8. Children
JETS is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the new date at the top.
